Welcome to the web page of Kimberly King, a private practice clinic. I am currently located in Germantown, TN. I am a licensed professional counselor and a registered play therapist and supervisor. I work with numerous adult issues such as: life issues, grief, anger, divorce, childhood issues, the treatment of depression, bi-polar disorder, personality disorders, anxiety phobias, trauma, and other psychiatric diagnoses. I have a great deal of experience working with children who have experienced loss, abuse, neglect, and trauma. I also work with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, depression, adjustment disorders, and oppositional defiant disorder. My specialty is play therapy and I enjoy the challenges and courage children have.

I also provide parent training in play, limit setting, and nurturance. I believe most parents are trying their very best with their children and sometimes they just need the tools to connect in deeper and more rewarding way with their children.

If you are a therapist looking for supervision, I have been providing many therapists, over the years, supervision in play therapy to obtain their registered play therapy credentials. I am also an approved supervisor in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas for licensure.
